Jesus paid the disciples a tremendous compliment when in His teaching He described them as salt and light.
When our lives are characterized as righteous we are being like God because HE is light (I John1:5) and Jesus is the light of the world
(I John 8:12). This is not just a compliment. To be identified with God in this way is an enormous responsibility as well. Because
whatever light is and does, the disciple is to be and to do. The Apostle Paul also had something to say about darkness and light.
In Ephesians 5.8, Paul says, For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Notice the contrast between darkness
and light. ‘Once you were darkness, but now you are light.’ Paul didn’t say, ‘You have become a little brighter than before.
You have become a little bit more ethical, more polite.’ He did not say that they lived in darkness either. He said that they
were darkness. Paul is talking about what is happening inside of the person. Once, inside of you, you were darkness.

In today's OT scripture, The Lord went to visit Abraham. God told Abraham, he was on his way to see how evil and wicked Sodom and Gomorrah had become. Then Abraham bargained with God for the salvation of the cities and people Sodom and Gomorrah. Abraham approached God and said, “Will you kill good and bad alike? Suppose you find fifty godly people there within the city, will you destroy it, and not spare it for their sakes? That wouldn’t be right! Surely you wouldn’t do such a thing, to kill the godly with the wicked! Why, you would be treating godly and wicked exactly the same! Surely you wouldn’t do that! Should not the Judge of all the earth be fair?” And God heard Abraham's petition and replied, “If I find fifty godly people there, I will spare the entire city for their sake.” Then Abraham kept bargaining with God until God said (vs 32) “Then, for the sake of the ten, I won’t destroy it.” And the Lord went on his way when he had finished his conversation with Abraham. And Abraham returned to his tent. FRIENDS, DON'T EVER STOP INTERCEDING FOR YOUR FAMILY, CHILDREN, FRIENDS, CITIES, PEOPLES, COUNTRIES AND GOVERNMENTS.! IF THERE ARE STILL 10 RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE IN THE LAND, GOD WILL HEAR OUR PETITIONS, FORGIVE, HEAL AND SAVE! WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE!

Choosing a goal puts a huge burden on your shoulders.
But we do this to ourselves all the time. We put unnecessary stress on ourselves to lose weight or to succeed in business or to write a best-selling novel. Instead, keep things simple and reduce stress by focusing on the daily process and sticking to your schedule instead of worrying about big, life-changing goals.
When you focus on the practice instead of the performance, you can enjoy the present moment and improve at the same time.

Tasman Jude. It's a Canadian Reggae Excellent Thing!
Far from the traditional home of reggae, at an open mic in Grande Prairie, Alberta Tasman Jude first improvised three songs. The crowd’s passionate response caught them by surprise and could not be ignored, and so a band was forged.
From their inception Tasman Jude have worked hard to connect deeply and spread hope with as many people as possible, and so after only 3 months they found themselves with a committed fanbase and an EP charting on iTunes. “The band has a unique relationship with our fam” explains Caleb Hart (lead vocals) “we don’t have fans; we have family. They give us so much more than we can possibly give them through music.”
Their passionate live performances and optimistic music spread like wildfire throughout Alberta and beyond. Soon after, a new single “Family” was recorded, finding a home on radio around the world and bringing in multiple songwriting awards along the way.
